It's been a while, but The Romulan War is back with another motion comic! This time it's a visualization of the four-page Intruders, written by Mark Naccarato and illustrated by artist Frank Hand.
Intruders flips the script and is told from the perspective of the Romulans, tracking the final mission of Ketius, a scientist who was conscripted to serve on a Romulan warship that's been crippled in a battle with Starfleet. With the rest of the Romulan crew dead, Ketius watches helplessly as "alien intruders" (i.e. Starfleet officers) board his ship and attempt to pry into Romulan technology. Realizing he may never see his loving wife again, Ketius conquers his cowardice and acts to save his homeworld from the hands of the "human barbarians."
Intruders was originally a digital comic released in 2019 which has been rendered into "limited animation" by 2d compositor Sepehr Radfar and voiced by Todd Jabo. This is the second TRW motion comic, a sequel to Holocaust.
Links to the original digital comics and their motion comic counterparts are available on the TRW website, www.TheRomulanWar.com.
